Eco-Seismic Semi-Detached House – Borgo Terzo
The project involved a coordinated program of major maintenance and comprehensive energy-efficiency upgrades for a two-family residential building in Borgo di Terzo. The work skillfully combined technological innovation with deep respect for the local setting, breathing new life into an existing structure.

Through the strategic installation of a high-performance EPS external thermal insulation system and the complete replacement of all external windows and doors, together with the renewal of the garage overhead door, the overall thermal performance of the building envelope was significantly improved.
At the same time, the design included the targeted modification of an opening beneath the staircase to accommodate a modern, high-efficiency heat pump, maximizing the use of available space while enhancing the building's overall energy efficiency.
The careful selection of contemporary materials and harmonious colour combinations made it possible to preserve the building's original architectural character while completely revitalising the appearance of a previously outdated structure.
The final result is an elegant and refined design that blends seamlessly into its surroundings, enhancing the semi-detached residence while fully respecting the surrounding environment.
